Tucker Krause

Who I am:

Hi there, my name is Tucker Krause. I am a 20 year old student at UNBC and I'm running for Prince George City Council this election.

What I've Done:

I've volunteered on political initiatives at provincial and federal levels and supported local nonprofits. This includes serving as an executive on the board of multiple local organizations.

I'm currently working towards a B.A. in Economics at The University of Northern British Columbia.

Why I'm Running:

I'm born and raised in Prince George and I don't want to leave. However, a lot of people my age are already making the decision to pack their bags. I believe we need to ensure Prince George is a place that is attractive for young people to live, grow, and invest in.

Supporting young people is not a narrow interest. Young workers help local businesses find staff. Young entrepreneurs can create services and entertainment for folks of all ages. And a growing base of taxpayers and workers helps sustain the services seniors rely on.

I'll bring a fresh perspective to the city and work with the rest of council, not against it. That's how we can build a Prince George that works for everyone.

I have five proposed pillars to help accomplish this. Please consider reading my platform to learn more!
